DENISON, TEXAS — 2GR Equity has partnered with Preston Forrest Capital and Cross Development to build a 236-unit multifamily development in Denison, 75 miles north of Dallas. Located at the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 75 and W. Crawford Street, The Katy at Waterloo Trails will be part of Waterloo Trails, a 30-acre, master-planned, mixed-use development that, upon buildout, will include retail, restaurants, hotels and approximately 2.3 miles of hiking and biking trails. Preston Forrest Capital is the master developer of the larger project, with completion slated roughly for 2031. Construction of The Katy is underway and slated for completion at the end of 2027. Amenities will include a fitness center, resort-style pool, business and conference center with community kitchen, dog parks and electric vehicle charging stations.
