FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. — Altman Management Co. (AMC), a subsidiary of Fort Lauderdale-based The Altman Cos., has formed a partnership with RAM Partners. RAM Partners is a full-service third-party residential property management company based in Atlanta. RAM Partners will provide support to AMC’s property marketing, training, business systems and revenue management teams, as well as the firm’s ancillary services department. AMC will continue to handle resident-facing functions such as leasing and property management. AMC currently manages more than 27,000 units across 105 communities.

MINNEAPOLIS — Anne Olson will replace Mark Decker as chief executive officer of Centerspace (NYSE:CSR). Decker has been CEO since 2017. The board of directors appointed Olson, who is the company’s executive vice president, chief operating officer and general counsel. With Olson’s title change, she will also become a member of the Centerspace board. MIAMI — Coastal Construction Group, a Miami-based general contractor, has launched an affordable housing division that will focus on workforce, affordable and seniors affordable development projects in South Florida. Hernan Acurio was hired to lead the division. Coastal Construction’s past affordable-housing projects include Poinciana Village in Key West, Florida, and Oasis and Shepherd’s Court in Miami. The firm currently is building Sawyer’s Walk in Miami for The Swerdlow Group. Sawyer’s Walk is an 18-story mixed-use project with 578 rent-restricted studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments reserved for lower-income seniors.

SEATTLE — Capstone Cos. has opened a multifamily brokerage office in Seattle and hired Evan McLeod and Chris Hardman to lead the team. McLeod and Hardman, whose respective titles are managing director and director, join Capstone from Seattle-based investment sales firm CPX. Prior to CPX, both McLeod and Hardman worked for Marcus & Millichap. Capstone says it will announce additional new office openings in 2023. GREENVILLE, S.C. — Multifamily software company Grace Hill has acquired Edge2Learn and Ellis Partners in Management Solutions (Ellis). Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Edge2Learn and Ellis provide e-learning services as well as policy, survey and data services to multifamily property owners and operators. HOUSTON — Houston-based developer The Dinerstein Companies (TDC) has launched a build-to-rent (BTR) brand called Inspire Homes. TDC has broken ground on its first two Inspire Homes projects, one in Wildwood, Florida, and the other in Missouri City, Texas.
