SOMERSWORTH, N.H. — A partnership between developers Tidemark and BOD Holdings has broken ground on a 135-unit project in downtown Somersworth, a city located on the Maine-New Hampshire border. The property will offer studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units. Amenities will include a fitness center, package room, leasing office and onsite parking. New Hampshire-based PROCON designed the community. Construction is slated to complete in spring 2026.

Caro Tuscan Village in Salem, New Hampshire

SALEM, N.H. — The Dolben Co. has completed Caro Tuscan Village, a 260-unit development in Salem. Caro Tuscan Village is situated on a 7.7-acre site within Tuscan Village, a mixed-use project that is a redevelopment of the former Rockingham Park horseracing complex. Units come in studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans. Amenities include a pool, fitness center, conference room, clubroom and outdoor grilling and dining stations. HDS Architecture designed the project. Pilot Construction was the general contractor.

MANCHESTER, N.H. — North & South Construction Services has completed Signature on Elm, a 35-unit development in Manchester. The developer and general contractor developed the project in partnership with the Strafford Economic Development Corp. Signature on Elm offers studio, one- and two-bedroom units, as well as 8,000 square feet of retail space. Of the total unit count, 15 apartments are set aside as workforce housing. Income restrictions for these units were not disclosed. Rents for market-rate units start at $1,500 per month for a studio apartment.
