CHICAGO — Core Spaces plans to expand its build-to-rent brand, Oxenfree. The Chicago-based developer currently has a pipeline of approximately 4,000 units under development in markets such as Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, Nashville, Austin, Charlotte and Florida’s Gulf Coast. The company plans to begin leasing at its first two communities — Oxenfree at WeHo in Nashville, Tennessee, and Oxenfree at Princeton in Princeton, Texas — in March, with the first units slated to deliver by April.
Oxenfree at WeHo is located in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. The asset offers 96 townhome units in three- and four-bedroom layouts. Community amenities include a pool and an outdoor entertaining space and amenity lawn.
Oxenfree at Princeton comprises 408 single family detached homes and townhomes on a 50-acre site. The property includes a 10,000 square foot “fieldhouse” that houses amenities such as a fitness center and yoga room, coworking and event spaces. Other amenities include a pool and spa, grilling stations, fire pits and more.
Core Spaces has also broken ground on five other communities, which are expected to deliver next year. Oxenfree at Rowlett and Oxenfree at West Oak are both located in Dallas and are slated to be completed in the spring of 2025. Core Spaces plans to deliver Oxenfree at Stonebriar in Frisco, Texas, Oxenfree at Parklin in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Oxenfree at Clear Creek in Denver in the summer of 2025.
