TAMPA, FLA. — Crescent Communities has broken ground on HARMON Ashton Oaks in Tampa, marking the sixth and final collaboration of the first round of joint-venture developments with Heitman. The 115-unit townhome community is in the Wesley Chapel neighborhood of the Tampa metro region. Set across 28 acres at the intersection of State Road 54 and Ashton Oaks Boulevard, HARMON Ashton Oaks will be complete later this year.

The community consists of three- and four-bedroom, two-story townhomes averaging approximately 1,800 square feet. Amenities include a resort-style pool with cabanas and a grilling area, a sports field that doubles as an event lawn and a dog park. DRB Group will serve as the builder.

The first joint venture between Crescent Communities and Heitman launched in 2024 with an initial $235 million commitment that later expanded to $345 million. The venture invested in six HARMON developments across North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Texas and Arizona, including HARMON Ascend (Phoenix), HARMON Ashton Oaks (Tampa), HARMON Cedar Run (Atlanta), HARMON Jefferson Village (Greensboro), HARMON Melissa (Dallas) and HARMON West Meade (Nashville). The two investors teamed up again in late 2025, when a second, $240 million venture was announced to fund six additional communities. Crescent reports the investment may expand up to $340 million.
