MELISSA AND AUBREY, TEXAS — Legacy Partners and The Resmark Cos. are underway on two build-to-rent communities in the metro Dallas area. Highland will comprise 133 units in the northern Dallas suburb of Melissa. The complex will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom homes that range in size from 780 to 1,500 square feet. Units will feature granite countertops, smart home technology and private fenced-in yards. Select homes will also have attached garages. Monthly rental rates are expected to start at $2,100.
Oak Grove will feature 134 units in Aubrey, 50 miles north of Dallas. Units will come in one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans and range from 770 to 1,625 square feet in size. Like Highland, Oak Grove will feature granite countertops, smart home technology, fenced yards and attached garages in select units. Monthly rental rates are anticipated to start at $2,000.
Both communities will offer amenities such as clubhouses with gaming rooms, co-working space, conference rooms, fitness centers, pools with cabanas, outdoor kitchens with grilling stations, dog parks and green space. The developers expect to deliver both projects in late 2025. Provident General Contractors is constructing both developments.
