SALT LAKE CITY — Midtown Capital has secured a $31.5 million bridge loan to complete the construction of The Astoria, a 149-unit property situated in the Fairpark District of Salt Lake City. Located at 11 N. 800 West, the seven-story asset will offer 372-square-foot micro units, 545-square-foot studios and one- and two-bedroom floor plans up to 955 square feet each.  The development is slated for completion in the third quarter of 2025. Halstead Tarrytown

TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — The DSF Group has sold Halstead Tarrytown, a 300-unit asset located in Tarrytown, about 30 miles north of New York City. Built in 1998, the property consists of 11 two-story buildings offering a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments. The JLL Suburban Tri-State Capital Markets team represented the seller and procured the buyer in the deal. The identity of the buyer and the sales price were not disclosed.

BRIGHTON, COLO. — The Milestone Group has purchased Solaire Apartments, a 252-unit community located at 1287 S. 8th Ave. in Brighton, roughly 21 miles northeast of Denver. The purchase price was not disclosed. Solaire Apartments offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Residents have access to shared amenities including a clubroom with a kitchen and business center, fitness center, dog park, playground, native grass areas and a pool with a lap lane, hot tub and lounge.

Amber Valley Apartments

FARGO, N.D. — Gindi Equities has acquired Amber Valley Apartments, a 162-unit property in Fargo, for an undisclosed price. Built in 2001, Amber Valley Apartments consists of 162 units that range from one- to three-bedroom floor plans. Gindi plans to launch a renovation program at the community, upgrading both interior spaces and common areas. The seller, Property Resources Group, will continue to manage and service the asset. The acquisition marks Gindi’s fourth purchase in the Fargo market in the past 12 months.

HOUSTON — Miami-based developer Housing Trust Group has broken ground on The Rushmore, a $33.8 million affordable housing project located in the Energy Corridor of Houston. The community will comprise 101 units, 85 of which will be reserved for households earning at or below 30, 50 and 60 percent of the area median income. ROCKFORD, ILL. — Becovic Holdings Corp. has acquired The Arbors, a 254-unit community in Rockford, about 90 miles west of Chicago. The Arbors was built between 1966 and 1981. Amenities include a fitness room, business center, small community room and package room. The garden-style asset was 98 percent leased at the time of sale. DENVER — Avanti Residential, a Denver-based investor and operator, has launched a new development arm to execute round-up multifamily and build-to-rent developments across the U.S. The company appointed Kyle Henderson, who has about two decades of multifamily development experience at firms such as D.R. Horton and Wood Partners, to lead the newly established affiliate. Avanti Residential’s portfolio currently comprises 9,363 units across 40 properties in seven states: Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Arizona, Florida, Utah and Tennessee.
