ATLANTA — TruAmerica Multifamily has acquired The Tower on Piedmont, a 20-story, 155-unit high-rise community in Atlanta’s Buckhead submarket. The seller and sales price were not disclosed. Los Angeles-based TruAmerica has acquired approximately $250 million in market-rate and affordable housing since the start of 2026. With the new Buckhead addition, the company now owns and manages about 3,000 units in Atlanta.
The prior owner invested $3 million in capital improvements to the property’s interiors, and TruAmerica plans to pick up the mantle with additional unit upgrades as well as updates to the rooftop pool, lobby and fitness center. CBRE’s Colleen Hendrix, Shea Campbell and Ashish Cholia represented the seller. Ryan Greer and Troy Tegeler of CBRE advised TruAmerica on financing for the acquisition.
