SAN MARCOS, TEXAS — Woodfield Development has completed initial units, and residents have begun moving into, Strait & Nelson, a 360-unit community in San Marcos. Construction is slated to be fully complete by this summer. The project team included architect Dwell Design Studio, ChalkLine General Contractor and Thrive Interior Design. Strait & Nelson consists of one-, two- and three-bedroom units and a clubroom with an entertainment kitchen and beer taps, a coworking lounge with private offices and conference rooms and a resort-style pool complemented by a courtyard and outdoor gathering spaces. Other feature amenities include a fitness center with dedicated yoga and group exercise spaces, pickleball and sand volleyball courts, a gaming lounge, two dog parks, bike storage and electric vehicle charging stations.
