DENVER — Apartment Investment and Management Co. (AIMCO), a publicly traded real estate investment trust (REIT) that trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol AIV, has named R. Dary Stone chairman of the board.
Stone was first appointed to Aimco’s board in December 2020, serving under various leadership roles. Stone has led several real estate companies throughout his career, including as president and chief operating officer of Cousins Properties. He continues to serve on Cousins Properties’ board as chairman of the nominating and governance committee. His current and prior board services also include roles with Tolleson Wealth Management, Tolleson Private Bank, Parkway Properties, Baylor University and the Texas Banking Commission.
