PORTLAND, MAINE — Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) has closed on construction financing for Lambert Woods North, a 72-unit affordable housing development that will be built in the North Deering neighborhood. POAH acquired the wooded lot from the City of Portland through an RFP process. The one-, two- and three-bedroom units will be reserved for renters earning 60 percent of area median income. BRUNSWICK, MAINE — Jones Street Investment Partners, a private equity real estate firm headquartered in Boston, has broken ground on a 64-unit project in Brunswick, 26 miles north of Portland, Maine. The project represents the second phase of Atlantic Pointe. Phase I comprised 181 units. Phase II will include four buildings that will house one- and two-bedroom units. Planned amenities at Atlantic Pointe include a fitness center, business center, dog park and package lockers. Phase II is slated to complete in summer 2025.

WESTBROOK, MAINE — Preston Hollow Community Capital has purchased $85.7 million in tax-exempt revenue bonds issued by the Finance Authority of Maine. Proceeds from the bond will be used to fund the development of a mixed-use development in Westbrook known as Rock Row. Piper Sandler & Co. served as sole underwriter for the bonds.
