GARDNER, KAN. — Sallee Development has broken ground on Flint Trails, a $69 million, 264-unit build-to-rent community in Gardner, approximately 30 miles south of Kansas City. The project includes a mix of two- and three-bedroom townhomes as well as a pool, clubhouse and pickleball court. Financing was provided by CommunityAmerica Credit Union. Davidson Architecture + Engineering is the engineer, and Emery Sapp is the general contractor. Estimated monthly asking rents for the units are $2,200. Completion is slated for late 2027. Sallee is headquartered in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, located on the southeast side of the Kansas City metro area.
